STMP or otherwise known as "simple message transfer protocol" was devised when e mail became mainstream. Up until that point, e mail was almost exclusively used by Government and academic institutions that operated mail serving systems. These earlier systems were limited, capable of only sending messages to other mail serving organizations.

Why do parents have trouble with today's Math?
