I am a proud Canadian, but let’s face it – are winters in Canada suck. They are way too long, and way too cold. And I know I’m not the only one who would love a good vacation now and then from this cool and gloomy climate. Now with the economy not doing so good everyone is looking for a way to save some money. That’s why I want to tell you about some great travel websites you can find online to help you find great vacation deals at some amazing prices!
Â
First you need to make a list of all the vacation options that there are for you that Im going to point out. If you want to find places that are not as expensive, all inclusive is a great way to go cause it will save you a lot of money. Another great way to save money on a vacation is to look at the many last minute deals that are available to you. If you can pack quickly then you can save a lot of money by finding hotels and flights that have been discounted because resorts are trying to sell of their vacancies.
So today we’re going to advantage of the internet because there are so many good vacation deals that are out there for you. Many companies are trying to increase business and online hits so they are offering great vacation packages at unbelievable prices!
Â
SELL OF VACATIONS – Great for tropical getaways, and they also claim to have the lowest prices guaranteed. And you can also get cash back on your next vacation.
EXPEDIA - Expedia has everything, from airline tickets, hotels, packages, car rentals, discounts on event tickets and lil travel extra’s.
One of the most well-known websites for vacation packages is www.expedia.ca. What’s great about Expedia is that it has pretty much all the necessities you need when booking a vacation. It’s an online travel agency that often turns up bargains for bundled flights, hotel reservations and car rentals. You can also add entertainment and other extras when booking that can usually be added to the package at a discount price.
Â
ESCAPES
Escapes.ca is a proud Canadian travel company that specializes in all-inclusive packages, cruises, air flghts, and ofcourse last minute vacation get aways, their aim is to provide the best vacation deals and great service. They are more than just a source for great travel prices. The website provides tips, suggestions and information on a wide range of travel categories such as party vacations, group travel, business travel, family travel, vacations for singles, and adult only resorts. I have found some of the best vacation deals to all-inclusive resorts in Cuba on here as well. Â And I like the fact that the taxes are revealed so you are not surprised by the 300 dollar tax fee that many travel sites trick you with.
Â
HOME AWAY
If you are interested in booking out a cottage, villa, or a large place. Perhaps for a group gathering, or large family. Then HomeAway is your best bet. It offers vacation rentals with an good value for groups because they generally offer more space and amenities for prices similar to or less than hotel rates. www.HomeAway.com offers the biggest selection of rental lodgings, with more than 185,000 listings worldwide.
PRICELINE
Priceline.com offers the best deals when it comes to fine and luxurious hotels and lodging. Like most places, you can select a minimum star class. And put in your price range and the duration of your stay. You can find deals for top-rating hotels in tourist areas for less  than 100 dollars a night.  I’ve found bargains at the Hilton Niagara next to Fallsview casino for less than 100$ per night.
Last but not least…
Trip Advisor
When we books vacations we all want to be confident that the place we are going and spending our time at is an high-quality place with decent service. That last thing we want is a night-mare vacation that looks nothing like it did in the brochure. Â When it comes to getting hotel reviews from a reliable source, you can always count on tripadvisor.com
Unfortunately, TripAdvisor doesn’t sell rooms or offer any actual deals, but it links you with partner sites, such as Expedia, Travelocity and Hotels.com. Just click on "check rates" and a new window with results will open
